Mr. Thompson is a business lawyer with an emphasis on contractors and sub-contractors in both the government and private sectors. He is admitted to practice in all California state courts and the US District Court for the Southern District of California.

Education and Background
Mr. Thompson graduated from San Diego State University in 1992, from where he also earned an additional certification in quality Business Practices. He then earned his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law In 1995. He was admitted to practice law that year.
After practicing law for several years, Mr. Thompson entered the business world as an entrepreneur with two different publishing companies. There, he held positions for process improvement and fulfillment, and was ultimately named the Director of Operations for the nation's largest third-party publisher. He brings this business acumen, focus on quality control and operational know-how with him in his return to the legal world.
Mr. Thompson enjoys poker, cigars, and spending time with his wife, Tazeem, and children Analene, 4, and Zachary, 2.
